These Terms govern your use of the Hotlap website and app (the "Services"), operated by Hotlap ("Hotlap", "we"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
2. Your account
Keep your login details secure and your information accurate. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
3. What Hotlap is
Hotlap is an information and discovery platform for motorsport activities, events and news in the UAE. We are not the operator of any activity, venue or event listed. Bookings are made directly with the venue or organiser, on their website and under their terms. See our Bookings & Third-Party Activities Disclaimer.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: break any law; impersonate anyone or submit false racer credentials; upload anything unlawful, offensive or infringing; scrape, copy or resell our content or data; attempt to access systems or data you are not authorised to access; or interfere with the Services.
5. Your content
If you submit content (such as form entries, photos or, in future, community posts), you keep ownership but grant Hotlap a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and adapt it to operate and promote the Services. You confirm you have the right to share it.
6. Our content
The Hotlap name, logo, design and content belong to Hotlap or its licensors. You may not use them without our written permission.
7. Accuracy of information
We work to keep activity details, prices and schedules accurate, but venues change them without notice. Always confirm details with the venue before booking.
8. Coming-soon features
Some features (such as racer rankings and community) are marked as coming soon. We may change, delay or withdraw features at any time.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hotlap is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from activities, venues or events you book through third parties, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ras Al Khaimah.
